Corona virus: Why are there doubts about the data collected for testing for COD 19 disease in Pakistan? June 24 was a difficult day for the provincial capital, Lahore, according to daily statistics from Punjab, the province most affected by coronavirus deaths in Pakistan. In those 24 hours, code-19 disease claimed 55 lives in Lahore, a record so far. In the last five days before June 24, 119 people died of the corona virus in Lahore, an estimated 24 deaths per day. But when the provincial figures for June 25 came out, it was surprising that not a single death had taken place in Lahore. The BBC contacted Mayo Hospital, the largest coronavirus hospital in Lahore, for treatment. According to hospital data, there were three confirmed and five unconfirmed deaths from Code 19 on June 24, two certified and five unconfirmed deaths on June 25, and one confirmed and three unconfirmed deaths on June 26. The reason for collecting the three-day data was to allay fears that deaths after the count de...

Let's Protect our Environment

Overcoming environmental issues is essential for building a healthy society
Lets Save Our Planet

June 5 is World Environment Day celebrated all over the world, including Pakistan. The aim is to create awareness among the people about improving the environment and eliminating pollution. This day was first organized by the United Nations in 1974, after which it is now celebrated every year with a commitment to overcome environmental issues and in most countries of the world World Environment Day. Walks, seminars and other events are organized in connection with

One of the major reasons for the rapid increase in environmental pollution in Pakistan is the continuous deforestation, while on the other hand, the so-called tree planting campaign by the government every year has not yielded any results till date. According to experts, by increasing the number of fruit forests in Pakistan, not only environmental problems can be overcome but also valuable foreign exchange can be obtained through the sale of fruits obtained from trees. Given the current state of environmental pollution in Pakistan, there is a need for the government to seriously address environmental issues.

According to experts, the gradual rise in global warming and climate change due to greenhouse gas emissions has severely affected the agricultural system, leading to food shortages and rising inflation, especially in poor countries. I am constantly growing. According to one estimate, production of the world's most widely consumed food grains, wheat, rice, corn and soybeans, has declined alarmingly over the past decade as climate change has affected Asia, Australia, Farming systems in the United States and Europe have been severely affected, while irrigation systems in Asian agricultural countries, particularly Pakistan, Cambodia and India, are on the verge of collapse due to water shortages or inflation in rivers.

According to experts, water pollution in Pakistan has also increased rapidly while 3% of diseases are related to the use of contaminated water, so it is very important to control environmental issues to create a happy and healthy society. Many glaciers in the North and South Poles are melting rapidly due to environmental pollution, which poses a serious threat of hurricanes, while earthquakes, hurricanes and other natural disasters are taking place all over the world, including Pakistan Disasters have increased, threatening the present world and future generations. Pakistan is one of the countries most affected by climate change, with temperatures rising alarmingly over the past five years.

We must play our part in improving the environment. Our common negligence causes severe damage to the environment. For example, according to a survey, about 90% of waterfowl eat plastic, which accumulates in their intestines and causes death. We go to the beach to have fun and collect garbage there. This garbage has a very deadly effect on the marine environment. If you take care of the little things, the environment will improve.

We have to think that if we are to give our generation a safe, happy environment, we must improve today for tomorrow. Smoke and wastewater from factory chimneys should be fully disposed of in order to avoid the negative effects of the environment and to lead a healthy life. To improve the environment, the government should launch a tree planting campaign and plant as many trees as possible in the cities so that the effects of global warning can be avoided.

The whole world must play its part in improving the environment. No matter who wins the nuclear war, if they do nothing to improve the environment, the whole world will lose. The United Nations says about 13 million hectares of forests around the world are cleared every year. In order to control environmental pollution, the survival and protection of forests has become indispensable. Air pollution is increasing. Today, as the ecological balance of the universe is deteriorating, air, ground, radial, water, noise pollution is increasing, man is spoiling his environment by earning with his own hands. What is needed now is for the people to make a serious decision about their environment and to make the environment around them clean and pleasant with their help. So that future generations have a better environment.
